Tie off your work and weave in all your
ends.
Assembly
At this point your work should look like a rectangle piece.

Fold your work in half long ways to match the shape of the pillow. Fold it with the wrong side out OR the backside of the pattern facing outward.

Take your stitch markers and place in the corners AND between sides to create checkpoints to make sure your join is not shifting.
Attach yarn at the fold leaving one stitch in the middle. Place yarn needle under both loops of the stitch. Tie a knot to secure. Then use a whipstitch to join 2 sides together.
Before you close the last side, grab your pillow insert. Place your hand inside the cover. Pinch the pillow at the opposite end. Then flip the cover inside right OVER the pillow insert.
Last thing is to join the final side closed.
We are now looking at the right side of the pillow cover. Change the join method to a mattress stitch join variation so the join is more flattering.
Taking our yarn needle, find side one, the next open stitch, insert yarn needle from the inside outward of that stitch. We will be working along the foundation row so don’t focus on what loops to place your yarn needle in, focus on keeping the sides lined up and just enter your yarn needle into an open space.
Repeat to the end for a full close of the pillow. Then tie off your work and weave in your ends. Project COMPLETE! Great Job!
