Adding dimension and texture with the Bobble Column Stitch!
Hey friends! 👋
Can you believe we’re already into April? That means it’s time for our next crochet stitch in the 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket Crochet Along! If you're new here or just popping in to catch up, this project is a year-long crochet journey where we record one row per day based on the temperature outside—using a new stitch pattern each month to keep things interesting and beautiful.
This month, we’re using the Bobble Column Stitch Pattern and it is so good. The stitch features bobbles stacked in clean vertical rows with space in between, which gives your blanket a beautiful texture without being too busy. It's just enough pop to keep things fun but still easy to work into your daily rows.
Check Your Stitch Count!
🎯 Target Stitch Count: 212

✔️ If you’re missing fewer than 10 stitches → Gradually add increases here and there
(not all in the same spot) until you get back to 212.
✔️ If you’re off by more than 10 stitches → I highly recommend undoing your work and
figuring out where the mistake started.
🚨 Now is the time to fix this. If you push forward without correcting, you’ll regret it later. Fixing it now is annoying, sure—but waiting until your blanket turns into a wonky mess will make you want to give up entirely. We are in this together, and I’ve got your back!
