Crochet Level:  For Pumpkin Intarsia Squares: Intermediate (Possibly Easy Level) only because we are using Intarsia color change. 

For Pillow Construction: Advanced Beginner/Easy 


Terminology: US Terminology 


Dimensions/Gauge: This square section measures out between 4 inches wide x 4 inches tall to 4.5 inches wide x 4.5 inches tall based on tension and thickness of your size 4 weight yarn. The Pillow itself is up to you on what size you are making. If you can fit square shapes into the shape of the pillow you are good.



  • Yarn – 100% acrylic size 4 weight yarn in colors cream/ orange/ dark green 

      I used: Loops & Thread Impeccable yarn in color Aran,  Loops & Thread Impeccable

      yarn in color Deep Forest and I Love This Yarn in color Burnt Pumpkin 

  • Pillow Form/Insert: The Pillow I used is 18 inches x 18 inches 
  • Crochet Hook – H/8 – 5.00mm 
  • Scissors – Any Embroidery Scissors 
  • Yarn Needle/Tapestry Needle 
  • Measuring Tape – To keep to dimension of the pillow 
  • Stitch Markers – To join squares together so they don’t shift on you.
