Mini Filet Ghost Wall Hanging Workshop

Make a little Halloween magic while learning a crochet technique you can use long after the season ends!

Join Crochet With Tiffany at Yarn Therapy to create a Mini Filet Ghost Wall Hanging—a decorative piece that reveals its ghost design through a combination of open and filled crochet spaces.

This three-hour, in-person workshop is designed for advanced beginners. Tiffany will give you an introduction to filet crochet, then work through the project alongside the class. You’ll follow her demonstration on a large screen, practice reading a beginner-friendly filet crochet chart, and have opportunities to ask questions and get help in real time.

Class size is limited to 12 students.

You’ll learn how open and filled mesh spaces form the ghost image, how to keep your stitch count on track, and how to spot and troubleshoot common mistakes. Tiffany will also explain how to attach your crochet piece to its wooden dowel, add the hanging loop, and use blocking as an optional finishing technique. Blocking will be discussed but not demonstrated.

Your $125 ticket includes the in-person class, all materials needed to make the wall hanging (except the tools listed below), a printed pattern, and a PDF pattern emailed to you. You’ll also receive access to pre-recorded right- and left-handed video tutorials for 30 days after the workshop, so you can revisit the steps or finish your project at home. You’re welcome to email Tiffany with project questions after class. Any unused project materials are yours to take home.

We’ll work as far through the project as time allows, and some students may finish during class. If you don’t, you’ll leave with the materials and instructions needed to complete your ghost at home.

Before you attend: You should be able to work double crochet stitches without assistance. A basic familiarity with the stitch-diagram symbols for double crochet and chain stitches is helpful; previous filet crochet experience is not required.

Cancellation policy: Cancel by September 25 for a full refund. Cancellations from September 26 through October 8 receive a 50% refund. Cancellations after October 8 are nonrefundable because materials will have been purchased and there is limited time to fill the spot. Tickets may be transferred to another person.
