Jan. 7 - Crafter's Gathering

Kick off the new year with a cozy Crafter’s Gathering as we look ahead at what’s coming in the Crochet Club for 2026. I’ll be sharing what you can expect this year, how things are being simplified, and how we’ll be focusing on learning, community, and creative growth together.

During this meeting, we’ll also officially kick off our Crochet Book Club with our first featured book: Hello Hexie by Sarah Shrimpton — a collection of 20 easy crochet patterns built from simple granny hexagons.

Hexagons have been calling my name for a while now, and in 2026 I’m finally leaning all the way in. This book is where I’m starting my own hexagon journey, and I’ll be sharing that experience throughout the year on my YouTube channel as well.

📌 Important note: The patterns in this book are written in UK terminology. You’ll need to convert them to US terms to get the same results. We’ll talk about that during the meeting.

✨ 2026 Crochet Club Group Project Announcement

I’ll also be introducing our year-long Crochet Club Group Project. Each participant will choose one granny square that represents them. We’ll each make our own squares at our own pace, knowing each square reflects a person in our community.
