Aug 12th - Stash Diving Challenge

Join us for a fun and spontaneous Stash Diving Challenge! During the meeting, you’ll be asked to step away, visit your yarn stash, and grab the first skein that catches your eye—no planning, searching, or choosing the “perfect” one. When you return, we’ll take turns showing our surprise skeins and sharing the stories behind them. Did you originally have a project in mind? Was it an irresistible sale, a vacation souvenir, a way to support an indie dyer, or simply too beautiful to leave behind?

Beyond showing off some gorgeous yarn, this gathering will give us a fascinating look at the different emotional and psychological reasons we buy and keep yarn. You may recognize your own shopping habits, rediscover a forgotten project idea, or finally understand why certain skeins feel too special to use. Come ready to participate, laugh, connect, and perhaps see your yarn stash—and the choices that created it—in an entirely new way!
